DIY Foam Alphabet Magnets

I’ve had these magnet letters for four years and as you can see they have been well-loved by both kids! We use them to learn the alphabet and learning to blend letter sounds and sight words.

I just used the $4 set of Munchkin foam letters and numbers, some craft magnet buttons, and hot glue gun to make them.

They are the perfect size and thickness for little hands! I love how easy they are for the kids to take on and off of magnetic surfaces like the fridge, doors and magnet boards, and we can still use them in the tub and playing in water. You can even DIY a magnetic fishing rod and “fish” them out of water!
