Homemade ABCs Soup

Growing up “Sopa” was my favorite dish. It wasn’t until I got older that I learned that “Sopa” just meant “soup” in Spanish.

My mother always used La Moderna Alphabet pasta. They are like 50 cents a bag and a great way for my kids to see and eat their ABCs. And I love that we get to continue the “Sopa” tradition!

Our tradition is to eat them with a tomato soup but we have also added them to chicken soup or just made them with chicken broth. You can usually find them in the Hispanic foods aisle!
