Sprinkles Letters!

We love doing Sprinkles crafts (and eating them). When we do letters, I usually have my son write the letters in marker then trace with school glue and then pour on the sprinkles! Don’t forget to use a deep pan or craft tray when doing this at home or sprinkles will go everywhere!

Homemade ABCs Soup

Growing up “Sopa” was my favorite dish. It wasn’t until I got older that I learned that “Sopa” just meant “soup” in Spanish. My mother always used La Moderna Alphabet pasta. They are like 50 cents a bag and a great way for my kids to see and eat their ABCs. And I love thatContinue reading “Homemade ABCs Soup”

Animal Sandwiches

Lunch time can be so stressful with picky eaters! When school was in session peanut butter sandwiches were our go-to lunch but when school closed, my son decided that PB sandwiches were for school only Then cookie cutters saved lunchtime! I had a few at home and recently ordered two sets of 50 online forContinue reading “Animal Sandwiches”

Rainbow Sprinkles Photo Frames

Something about rainbow sprinkles just makes me happy! And since schools are closed, momma is making her own Mother’s Day crafts with the kids this week! We did this rainbow sprinkles photo frame craft two different ways. We used a pre-made wooden photo frame I bought from Dollar Tree a couple of years ago, andContinue reading “Rainbow Sprinkles Photo Frames”

Goldfish GO FISH! Game

It is a fun and interactive way to get your socks matched! I have played it with myContinue reading “Goldfish GO FISH! Game”

Fish Shapes Craft

Finding Dory has been the kids’ go-to movie during Quarantine so this week we are focusing on fish! Here is another simple craft for toddlers and preschoolers using basic shapes. I love talking through different shapes with my children and seeing how seemingly unrelated shapes can come together to make something so familiar to them.Continue reading “Fish Shapes Craft”

Our Earth Song

It’s not technically Earth Day anymore, but we should celebrate our planet EVERY DAY, right?! The earlier children learn about the Earth and how we can all help keep it vibrant and thriving, the more likely they will be to develop lifelong habits of recycling, reusing, reducing and conserving! Try out this little ditty withContinue reading “Our Earth Song”
